Reservation policy
Payment terms for hotel room bookings.
A deposit of 10% is paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before arrival. For bookings made less than 2 weeks before arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are made to BG: 187-4189.
For cancellations made no later than 2 weeks before the agreed arrival date, only the deposit (10% of the rental amount) will be charged. For cancellations made 2 weeks or less before the agreed arrival date, 100% of the rental amount will be charged. If you wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer the period for rent again.
Payment terms for apartment or entire villa bookings.
A deposit of 25% is paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 2 months before arrival. Payments are made to BG: 187-4189.
For cancellations made no later than 60 days before the agreed arrival date, only the deposit (25% of the rental amount) will be charged. For cancellations made 60 days or less before the agreed arrival date, 100% of the rental amount will be charged. If you wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer the period for rent again.
Check-in
We do not have a staffed reception. The front door is open and the key is in the door to your room. We will send you an email on the day of arrival as soon as the room is ready for new guests. A flying start!
Check-out
Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM. Please let us know when you are leaving. Simply leave the key in the door.
Parking
Parking is available next to the house. Please park in the space with the same name as your room. We also have 2 charging points for electric vehicles – these are only to be used while charging. Please park correctly, it makes things easier for everyone.
Breakfast
Breakfast is included for the rooms but not for the apartment, although it can be added upon request. During the high season, breakfast is served at the Beach Café (Strandcafe.se) between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies. The Beach Café also serves coffee and pastries, lunch, dinner, and delicious drinks – feel free to stop by before or after you have settled into your room. Open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Fire alarm and water consumption
Strandvillan’s fire alarm is sensitive to water vapour. Please therefore remember to keep the bedroom door closed when taking a shower. If water vapour spreads into the room, the fire alarm may be triggered. We truly appreciate your help in being mindful of this. We would also like to remind you that Gotland has limited water resources. Please help us save water by keeping showers short. Thank you for your consideration and help!
Cleaning
We do the final cleaning of the rooms upon departure, and additional cleaning is available upon request. We never enter your room without your knowledge. Please let us know if you need anything.
